Grandiose Cartier jewelry exhibition in Madrid.

A spectacular Cartier jewelry exhibition is taking place in Madrid at the Thyssen Museum. It will last until February 2013.

More than 400 exclusive Cartier jewels belonging to this legendary french jeweller collection are being shown. Called the jeweller of kings and king of jewelers by the Duke of Windsord, Louis François Cartier founded in the XIX century what is considered to be one of the most exclusive jeweller in history, whose designs and high quality artisan standards, have inspired  jewelry designers worldwide.

 

The exhibition includes a selection of some of the best pieces ever made, and is a historical trip around Maison Cartier´s history, designs and inspirations…

From large Cartier diamond tiaras of the XIXth. to exclusive jewelry commissions made for Coco Chanel, Grace Kelly and Elisabeth Taylor. The selection shown is worth a trip to Madrid, if like me you are a high quality jewelry passionate.
